How can we stop this from happening? What about cloning humans? Then there is Danny Hillis and those who would like to dump their brain into a perfected robot of sentient ability. This is not a science fiction primer but it must seem so at this juncture, or at least it would have to my father’s generation.
Just because you?re holding your guitar doesn?t mean that you?re playing it, and just because you?re playing your guitar doesn?t mean that you?re practicing. There is a real difference and it needs to be acknowledged if you want to improve your level of playing skill. Some people say they have spent the entire day practicing their guitar when in reality, all they?ve done was sit in front of the TV all day eating cheesy poofs. The Dukes Of Hazzard (Season 3) DVD Review

In the late 70’s and early 80’s, television viewers fell in love with The Dukes Of Hazzard, a weekly foray into the fictional setting of Hazzard County, Georgia. Cousins Bo and Luke Duke (John Schneider and Tom Wopat) spent each episode trying to do good, while the loveable ?Boss? Hogg (Sorrell Booke) concocted various schemes for making money and having the Duke boys, who always foiled his plans, thrown in jail for violating their probation (the result of a deal with the federal government to end the centuries-old Duke family tradition of bootlegging).
I was watching TV a few days ago and it just come to my mind, one of them flashbacks you hear about I suppose?you know, PTS: those Post Traumatic Stress flashes.
Anyways, the guy was talking on TV, calm like, mildly well dressed in his early ?30s style attire, representing an insurance company. Maybe he knows about my flash backs, I thought, maybe he has flashbacks, he?s selling insurance, so perhaps this has something to do with it.
I was now wondering about my flash-back potential a while ago, and this trigger it again, it gave me the willies.
